Anne Hollowday is an award winning film director based in New York. Her background in still photography informs her transportive and visceral work. Her cinematic style combines narrative and visual techniques - always with story (and what resonates at the human level) at its core.

Her work has garnered recognition across the world, with inclusion in the Shoot and 1.4 New Directors Showcases, as well as being awarded by SXSW, the One Club, the Art Director's Club and American Photography. In 2020, the Directors Guild of America shortlisted her for the Commercial Directors Diversity Fellowship for top, emerging diverse directors. She has shot in more than twenty countries; from the world’s biggest slum in India, to remote villages in the Amazon rainforest - with everyone from Hollywood actors, pro athletes and CEOs to nurses and doctors on the frontlines. Her films have screened at film festivals globally including SXSW. Commercial clients include: Porsche, Google, Uber and Nokia. Two photo books of her work were recently published.
